How we collect, use and protect your personal data, and who we are. Last updated 16 September 2026.
We collect only what we need to handle your file or answer your enquiry. We never sell your data. We share it only with the French administrations your file requires and with the people who work on it with us. You can ask at any time to see, correct or delete what we hold.

Only three categories of recipient, and never anyone else:
Prefecture, sub-prefecture, ANEF, CPAM, CAF, ANTS and any other body your specific file requires.
Laurent Faure and Anabela, plus any subcontractor bound by a confidentiality agreement when a file requires it.
Our host, our email provider and Calendly, strictly to operate the site and the booking system.
We never sell your data, never rent it, and never pass it to advertisers. Where a provider is based outside the European Union, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act you may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or transfer it to someone else. You may also object to a particular use, and withdraw consent where you gave it.
Write to riviera.expat.services@gmail.com. We answer within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at cnil.fr.

This site sets no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies of its own. The Calendly booking module on the contact page and the Google Fonts used for typography may set technical cookies of their own when those pages load. You can block them in your browser settings without affecting how the rest of the site works.
Your documents are held on access-controlled, password-protected systems and shared only with the recipients listed above. We ask you never to send identity documents through unsecured public channels, and we will always tell you the safest way to send us something.
The content of this site, its texts, its structure and the Riviera Expat Services name and logo are the property of Laurent Faure. Reproduction without prior written permission is not permitted.
We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page always shows the version in force.
This page is drafted to cover the standard GDPR and French legal-notice requirements for a service business of your size. It is not legal advice, and because you handle identity documents and residence files, which are sensitive by nature, having it checked once by a lawyer or a DPO is a sensible investment.
